VANCOUVER - The Filipino Channel (TFC) proved once more that they can draw people power with their “kapamilya” artists when thousands of Pinoy-Canucks from all over British Columbia trekked to the Forum of the Pacific National Exhibition for the 2011 Christmas Gifts & Food Fair event, dubbed as “Pasko Na Namang Muli..sa PNE!”

Balitang Vancouver is the first independently produced local newscast about the Filipino community in BC. It is the only Filipino show aired on local channel, not cable, which is Omni Channel 8. It joins other multicultural programs and newscasts on the Omni, such as the Cantonese, Mandarin and Punjabi news.
British Columbia's signature Filipino event celebrated in the Summer of each year is still the biggest gathering of Filipinos in the province. ReyFort Media Group spearheads this landmark tradition together with the Filipino Canadian Cultural Heritage of BC and continues to draw Filipinos coming from all over the province, along with visiting Filipino communities from Alberta, Manitoba, and from across the border in Washington.
Now on its Season IV, the PNT Singing Idol currently remains to be the only recognized producer of new singning sensations in Metro Vancouver.
